Adbance on Mueda - 2020 (Islamist insurgency in Mozambique).

Intelligence reports indicate that al-Shabab are preparing to march on Mueda, a town that sits on a strategic crossrods that connects north east Cabo Delgado  with the south.

Reports indicate that al-Shabab have already captured Muidumbe, 38km to the south east of Mueda. Mocimboa da Paria  was captured earlier in the year.
