Assault on Camp Simba - 2020 ().

Al-Shabab forces attack the Camp Simba air-strip near Manda Island in Lamu County, Kenya.

The attack is repulsed, but several personel at the camp are killed and a large stockpile of fuel is destroyed. Four members of Al-Shabab were said to have also been killed in the assault.

The attack was initiated with a car bomb attack to get through the security gates.
