Battle of Kunduz - 2015 (War in Afghanistan (2001-present)).

This battle depicts the state of play around 29 September 2015 after the Taliban had overrun Kunduz and chased the Afghan forces to the airport.

The balance of units is mainly guessed with approximately 1500 Taliban although there are 4 units making it more like 2000 based on the ration that the Afghan forces have around 7000 with 14 chits.

Included in the Afghan forces are the special forces and the police. Also included are some random motorised and mechanised units although they are not much different.

There is no air or artillery factored into this as it stands.

As of 1 October news reports state that the Afghanistan Government has recaptured Kunduz.
