1965
2nd Battalion, 502nd Airborne Infantry Regiment move to Cam Ranh Bay to relieve the 1st Battalion, 18th Infantry Regiment and secure the area for the arrival of the ROK 2nd Marine Brigade.
This operation had no combat and as such is not really an active scenario in that sense. However, to make it a little interative I have added two Vietcong irragular units. It was common for many operations to include no actual combat. Nonetheless, strategically they could all have resulted in engagements of some sort and so I will include them for historic reference.
The objective is to secure the area for the arrival of the ROK 2nd Marine Brigade which arrives on the map to the north on turn 6.
Operation took place between 22 September 1965 to 19 October 1965.
