Like Opoeration Good Friend I there was no combat in this operation but I have included some Vietcong irregulars to provide the opportunity.
The details are very vague. The list of operations archive states that the following units were involved in securing the vicinity of Qui Nhon for the arrival of the ROK Capitol Division:
1st Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (USA)
1st Cavalry Division (USA)
2d Battalion, 7th Marines (USMC)
22d ARVN Division
However, I doubt that either all these units were there or were involved in the operation. As such I have included elements of each.
The ROK Capitol Division which was an similar style element of a cavalry regiment appears in the south west on turn 7 and has to get to Qui Nhon.
Not to difficult. Both this and Opoeration Good Friend I are examples of historic operations in which there were no engegements to speak of, but could well have been. For example, if you want to reflect the historic narritive, just move the vietcong to the endge of the map, but to see how they might have interred, move them accordinly.
Historically, the Vietcong avoided contact with US forces in such operations, preferring to attack when the US forces were no prepared.
