First Egyptian crossing of Operation Badr in the Yom Kippur War.
This scenario is limited to the actions of the 130th Amphibious Brigade and its 602nd and 603rd Mechanized Infantry Battalions crossing Great Bitter Lake.
They land uncontested but shortly after a tank company from Kibrit East comes down to intercept them. This is the tank company in the fortified poistion to the top of Great Bitter Lake. The other Isreali units northward are just there for show and the main assaults were at that time coming in but are not modelled here.
130th Amphibious Brigade is tasked with taking Gedy Pass and Mitla Pass.
Following the attack by the armoured company from Kibrit East, the 130th Amphibious Brigade is also tasked with taking Kibrit East.
The 602nd Battalion heads east but is intercepted by a battalion of Isreali tanks on Artillery Road which forces it back.
