Jarablus - 2016 (Syrian Civil War).

In this scenario Turkey crosses the border into Syria with support from the Free Syrian Army and US air power to assault ISIS in Jarablus.

Turkey starts out shelling Jarablus and the surrounding areas followed by Turkish special forces and 1500 Turkish backed Free Syrian Army troops.

I think this is the first time that Turkey has entered Syria fully.

The operation is also aimed at preventing the US-backed Democratic Union Party (PYD) from establilshing a de-facto independent state in northeastern Syria.

Turkey is to the North of the border and Syria to the South. The Turkish artillery is static and its assumed that the ISIS units cannot go into Turkey because its full of troops. The only reason you cant see them is that they are not deployed else you would use them. We can assume the Turkish border is heavily defended.

Not sure about the odds, but I think the artillery and air power should pretty much do it. I cant imagine Turkey trying something unless they were pretty sure they would win.

The assaults began at 4am, which is the middle of the night.

This has been updated to show the Free Syrian army units having entered Syria from Turkey and not from the South as originally placed. They were actually relocated from the Syrian provinces of Aleppo and Latakia through Turkey.
