Taliban move into Jawzjan to clear it of ISIS units.
During the operation, both sides are hit by air power, but the airstrikes are independent of the forces they appear to be supporting in the list of units. As such, the NATO airstrikes, which I have assumed were USAF units, that hit the Taliban units are under the ISIS list but are not actually part of the ISIS force, and similarly, the ISIS units were hit by security force airstrikes, and are listed under the Taliban list but are not on the Taliban side. Clearly this is a strange arrangement, and as such, the respective players should carry out the airstrikes impartially and in the interests of the appropriate parties.
The Taliban said that they killed 153 ISIS fighters, wounded another 100 and captured 134.
It was further noted that before a major battle that was building up could take place, the ISIS forces then surrendered about 250 fighters to the government forces under special arrangements not to be prosecuted which was criticised by the Taliban
