Kamwina Nsapu, head of a Bajila Kasanja clan calls for an insurrection after the government appoint non-tribal elders for important local government positions. His call happens around June 2016 adn on 12 August 2016 he is killed.
After, more Kamwina Nsapu militants, named after him rise up and start selectivly killing non-tribal people, or more accuralty, non-Luba people. They lso recruit child soldiers from the schools which prompts parents to stop sending their children to school.
Both sites start raising villages. This game features the refugees that invariably arrise from that activity.
Slowly the DR Congo forces mobilise to put down the rebellion and MONUSCO units move in to ease the tension and protect the civilians.
The conflict is still current in June 2017 with reports of 20 villages being totally destroyed and over 3300 people killed.
