This scenario details the capture of the four oil terminals in February-March 2017 by the Benghazi Defence Brigade from the Libyan National Army.

To the West you can see the Government of National Accord (GNA) units in brown which are non-combatents. They represent the Tripoli based Libyan government whilst the Libyan National Army represent the Tobruk based Liyban governemnt which is currently recognised by the United Nations.

The Benghazi Defence Brigade are a group of Islamist and jihadist militias that formed to protect their interests in eastern Libya and protect Benghazi but were pushed out by the Libyan National Army soon after and were currently based just south, I'm guessing Zuitina.

The oil terminals at this point in time have only been operational for about six months but this conflict has shut them back down again and threatens to flair up conflict in general across the region.

The map is a bit of center as I didn't really know where the focal point was but it seems sufficient even if a bit to the right.

I have just noticed the McClatchy DC below. I have never seen the site before but it was in Google. essentially it states that the Benghazi Defence Brigade are going to try and take out Benghazi to overthrow Field Marshal Khalifa Hifter. Seems like a grand strategy so not sure how valid it is as a report, however, I have as such put an objective value on Benghazi too incase you are feeling adventurous.
