Operation ANMI FAKAT - 2018 ().

Multinational Joint Task Force carries out Operation ANMI FAKAT to tackle Boko haram presence in Lake Chad area. They capture a number of supply depots including 81 and 82mm mortars, 122mm Artillery gun and its prime Mover and 6 Gun Trucks.

They also destroy Boko haram camps used for fuel dumps, food stores and communication platforms.

The Multinational Joint Task Force also clears Gashigar, Arege and Metele, which were known locations for Boko Harem militants.

Multinational Joint Task Force claims to have killed 59 Boko Harem militants and to have captured some leaders although they say they have taken casaulties from indirect fire and Vehicle Borne Improvised Explosive Devices.
