                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    Operation Hawk was the first use of helicopters to move troops direct to the enemy. 2000 troops were landed in the dense jungle to chase 80 men from the Malayan National Liberation Army, the military of arm of the Malayan Communist Party.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    The jungle was too dense to land and so men were winched down and they would then cut down trees with axes and bow saws to create a landing zone. Within 3 hours of landing the commonwealth troops made their first kill.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    Not quite started yet but shouldn't take too long. Nice simple game in all regards, nothing but jungle. Interesting array of commonwealth forces.
