SADF forces carry out an operation to destroy a SWAPO at Eheke.

The plan is for 32 Battalion to move north and destroy two smaller bases at Chana Tofima and Chana Nutalala and then move into position to attack Eheke 2 whilst a special forces unit air inserted to the north would attack Eheke 1.

Enroute 32 Battalion encounters some SWAPO units as well as emtpy bases.

The special forces units land west of their intended landinf zone DZ and because the bush is featureless nearly missing Eheke 1 whilst on a 238 bearing.

Shortly before the planned attack 32 Battalion are attacked by SWAPO units with rocket support from the north west, north east and south east.

After repulsing the attack the combined forces attack Eheke 1 and Eheke 2. THe special forces meet heavy resistance at Eheke 1 but 32 Battalion find Eheke 2 empty.

After they destroy the bases they move south and back over the border.

It is intended that the special forces unit is landed at an opportune moment to the north for the planned attack on Eheke 1.
