Saqlawiyah - 2016 (Iraq Civil War).

This is a battle to the North Westof Fallujah. I mainly chose this because if the video below which I found quite interesting. I think you get a very clear idea of a larger scale engagement. This isnt just 50 people assaulting an objective, this is an organised and synchronised effort by what I guess are at the very least quite a few companies and maybe battallions.

You can see rockets being used, armour, cannons and bazooka things. I thought the JCB was an interesting touch.

It is probably me but I thought that most of the shooting was not as well aimed as it could have been.

Theres probably no strategy here, but even so, you can see thats its no minor skirmish even though the description of it being the capture of a small village North West of Fallujah makes it sound quite trivial.

You can also see some of the inbound ISIS fire which puts things into perspective.
