Im acing it at 1 turn per day. Its not that easy to replicate as the conflict was not really conventional.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                To start off with the eriod 14-18 December represents the period before the main rebellion and is encompassed by Wikipedia under the Initial Mutiny section. Not much actually happens here other than all the soldiers are disarmed and then the Dinka (governemnt soldiers) were rearmed. This upset the Nuer and a fist fight occured. The Nuer then raided the stores and armed themselves and then took control of the military headquarters. The map is not detailed enough to really reflect this and so I have started the map with a SPLM-IO company in Juba. There is a SPLM regiment adjacent that can be used to dislodge the SPLM-IO company, as long as the combat goes well of course. However, if the attackfails its not that critical as the 14-18 saw quite a few conflicts including around the university where mortar fire was used.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                Around 18 December 2000 armed youths attacked a UN position near Malakal. By my rating 2000 is near a regiment. They appearon turn4 near Malakal. There intention was to kill all the civilians taking shelter there.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                On 20 December SPLA rebels clash with loyalists and the following day the SPLA's 4th division commander announces his defection. As such on the 21 December 2013 a lot more 4th Division SPLA rebels appear.Around 24 December 2013 rebel troops apear around Bien which is Pariang County.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                Around 21 December uganda sends troops at the request of the South Sudanese government. They arrive near Juba to help secure the airport and exacuate Ugandan citizens.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                On 22 December a full scale tank battle takes lace in Uper Nile. This is replicated rather arbitarilly by having a number of armoured units suddenlyappear on the map as reinforcements. If I introduced them anywhere else they probably would be committed in a full scale tank engagement.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                On 24 December the government recaptured Bor.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                Fighting for Malakal took place on 25 December and on 27 December the government recaptured it.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                A Ugandan Mig-21 squad is deployed in supporton 27 December.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                Between 30 December and 2 january there is fighting for Bor which the rebels finally recapture.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                On 4 January there are more tank battles near Bor but I wont reflect that as its probably the same tanks that were used in the Upper Nile area. There is a fair amount of fighting throughout January but much of it is not focussed in a way that its worth modelling.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                Its worth noting that the rebels became increasingly disorganised towards mid January and started looking shops etc.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                By 23 January the government had defeated most rebel positions and regained all towns etc.
