Turkey amasses hundreds of armored vehicles, battle tanks and trucks near the border with Tell Abyad and carry out an artillery strike on the area.
However, it was not thought that Turkey would engage in direct military action because the Kurds are US backed, but it is thought that they hope the pressure will force the Kurds out nonetheless.
