This is a snapshot of th recent clashes in the Tripoli area.
The picture is not clear, but Reuters report that 115 people have died over the month and another 383 have been injured.
Essentially it looks like internal clashed within the Government of General Accord that has been driven to some extent by reports of the militia commanders in Tripoli living extravagant lifestyles. However, there seems to be more to it and multiple factions, some of which might be the same.
In particular the fighting at the Naqliya barracks which was focussed around the Abu Sleem Force forcing the Salah Badi Somoud militia out of the barracks. The Salah Badi Somoud militia were led by Salah Badi who wa said to have followed a more hard line approached to politics and it was said that being forced out and south towards the airport after his forces ran out of ammunition and failed to attract sufficient support from other militias opened the doors to a greater chance of a peaceful colution to the current situation.
Further, the Special Deterrence Forces, who are a form of police to combat crime were reported to have been fighting with militias.
Livemap also reported clashes between the al-Samoud Brigade and the Abu Salim Tank Support Battalion in southern Tripoli near the airport road via Twitter as well as other conflict a little further north.
So in essence there are three main elements of conflict reported and I dont think that includes the full month of activity.
