This game represents the whole Abkhazia war, however, it lasts for over a year and so probably isnt a great simulation as after the first few turns the historic norm will be too skewed. However, I think its a good building block for an overview and the more specific points can later be addressed in their own scenaios, (Battle of Sukhumi, Battle of Gagra etc.)

Essentially I am scaling things to 1 turn = 1 week. This isn't great, but it will have to do. I could make 2 turns = 1 week but that becomes a bit fiddly with over 100 turns to work through. As such, based on the timscale of 14 August 1992 – 27 September 1993 each week starts on  7, 14, 21 and 28 (I know thats not exact but it jelps with mental gymnastics) which totals 58 turns.

• turn 1: 14 August 1992
• turn 3: 28 August 1992 (3 September Moscow negotiated ceasefire followed by Battle of Gagra 1–6 October 1992 and fall of Gagra)
• turn 16: start of seige of Sukhumi
• turn 29: first major assaults on Sukhumi
• turn 43: 2-5 July 1993 assault on Sukhumi, Russian airborne troops landed at Tamishi by Russian navy
• turn 47: August 1993 - Zviadist rebels who are part of the Georgian civil war appear in Zugdidi and capture Poti, Khobi, Senaki and Jvari as well as approaching Ochamchira
