Chad launches major operation to clear Boko Haram forces from around Lake Chad following their recent assaults on Nigerian forces.

Chadian forces recieved permission to opertion across Niger and Nigeria during the operation.

This is a search and destroy game with the Boko Haram units being randomly placed at various locations and initially hidden.

Following the end of this operation in which the Chadian governemnt said they killed 1000 militants ata loss of 52 troops, the government said that hey would no longer take part in military operations against the rebels outside of their national borders after citing frustration that other governments were not doing all that they could in the fight against Boko Haram.
